Electric powered model for leisure and competitions in the F5J-7C category.

This model has derived from the Silver E type. What´s more, its ailerons are controlled as well. The power unit can be either with a 480 type motor with gear for leisure or with Phasor 15/3 (alternatively AXI 2820) motors for flying in the F5J-7C competitions.

Recommended equipment for the model: For leisure flights Maxim 480/3 is suitable (280 mm prop, 3:1 gear, PRO 480 motor, JES 140 ESC) together with 7x Sanyo Accu RC 2/3 SC (1200 mAh). The receiver should be in a "micro" version as well as the servos.

For competitive flying a Phasor 15/3 motor with 250 mm propeller is suitable. Alternatively you can also use a AXI 2820/10 motor with 280 mm propeller. In both cases you need Jeti-Hacker Master 40-3P ESC . The Accu should contain 7 Sanyo RC 4/5 SC (1600 mAh) cells.
Performance characteristics of the model:
Uprising with the recommended power gear unit for leisure flights is approx. 3-4 m/s, gliding is up to -0,5m/s. The motor running time with a 1200 mAh accumulator is close to 5 minutes and the total flying time is something more than 25 minutes.

Uprising with the recommended power unit for competitive flying can be 6-9 m/s, gliding is up to -0,5 m/s. The motor running time with a 7C Akku (1600 mAh) is close to 90 s. The total flying time is usually longer than 30 minutes.
