Rival SILVER family

The Rival SILVER series has derived from Rival STARTER. This model took part in the Sunrise-Sunset competition at the Electric Flight Festival 2000 in California and it also contributed to winning the silver medal for the Slovak-American team there. These models share the same fuselage and tail with the Rival STARTER; wings have either only a slightly changed design or a bigger span as well. Some models have them even fully mechanized. Individual models of the series have - as stated in the comments - different usages. One of the models can be used as a motorless glider; another one is suitable for endurance flying; models with mechanized wings have been designed for the 7C class of the F5J competitions.

SILVER E (Enduro)

Electric powered model for endurance competitions.

This model comes with an efficient power gear unit with a reductor, a 400 type motor (or 480) and a high capacity accumulator.
The flying time can get close to 2-3 hours.

SILVER G (Glider)

Model for training and recreational flying.

This model is a motorless version of the original Silver E and it is used for the pilotage training or recreational flying in thermics. It can be dragged on a cord or sent up by a soft-rubber sling.

SILVER S (Special)

Electric powered model for leisure and competitions in the F5J-7C category.

This model has derived from the Silver E type. What´s more, its ailerons are controlled as well. The power unit can be either with a 480 type motor with gear for leisure or with Phasor 15/3 (alternatively AXI 2820) motors for flying in the F5J-7C competitions.
