Notes:

Aado from Estonia: We had a very nice sunny day. All the models we use are our own designs and handbuilt from scratch. All have AXI 2820/10 motors. We think that your F5J-Formula 15 rules are the best we have seen so far. Heinar, Paavo and Gunnar are Juniors.

Dave from California: (Pulsar M 2000) San Diego-USA / on the beach. Motor: Neu 1103/3Y 4.4:1 w 7-cell GP1100 Nimh, 20 degrees C, wind 7 KPH
*average motor run 8 seconds for 7 minute task, 9 seconds for >7 minute task
*average re-launch time of 10 seconds

Steve from Oklahoma: I enjoyed your contest format very much. Strategy plays an important role. I did not use enough motor run in 2nd segment of rounds 1 & 2. The weather this afternoon was 14C, with a northwest wind of 7.2 M/S gusting to 10.7 M/S.
My airframe is a Xenath II, 2.8M span, 58.4 dm/2, AUW 2692 grams, Hacker B50 9S 6.7:1, 457mm x 254mm folding prop, 15 Sanyo CP 1700 cells.

Joe from California: I only had time for 7-cell contest today. First time I tried this format - what fun trying to launch your plane right away again! Better land at your feet! :) Wish I had better luck on Round-3, Flight-2... :( Thanks for the opportunity! Attached is a graph of round #2 (almost fell down when picking up the plane in a hurry to launch it again!

Tuomo from Finland: I had a plan to do flying while my family is having a picnic by the (frozen) lake.
Oh well... I lost spinner and propeller from my Sensor on the test flight. Besides, I would have not got any landing points because the ice was so slippery. Even the snow parts were frozen and hard. Later same day I did 2 flights with my Tragi 705. It slipped 50-100m in the landing.
Till next round. See some pictures to see the "landing area", me and my Tragi

Thank you for understanding my new rules. I wish you many happy flight in following rounds
