Taça Primavera de Motoplanadores Eléctricos
19 Abril 2009
Short review from Pedro Machado - direct for F5 magazine:
After a week of bad weather by Portuguese standard the lucky
31 competitors were greeted this last Sunday (19 of April)
by a warm sun and mild winds. All the conditions were met
for this historic comp the second of it s kind held in Portugal
this year. This new format is capturing many new enthusiasts
here and we hope to see the number grow.
The models used were quite diverse from full composite to
elapor. Yes, there where elapor models present and the first
one came in a honored 8 place (Paulo Enes) in the general
qualification. Aside these facts the models that most stood
out here the Tango developed by RIVA models. This model won
the competition by the hands of Joao Mestre after 5 rounds
and also best flight of the comp by Joao Figueiredo.
Overall it was a very good day with many smiles by the end.
Next event will be in June. See you there!
At the end: "double" congratulations for having
a Tango in the first place and another Tango
for the best flight in the competitions.
